This super recognizable song by John Denver is a timeless classic. What I really enjoy about this arrangement is that it's less about hitting every note exactly right, and more about keeping the rhythm and timing on point. Extremely fun to play and utilizing a string slap technique to imitate the snare drum and keep consistent time, this fingerstyle arrangement is brilliant!

Yesterday

Another oldie, but goodie, Yesterday is an iconic sorrowful ballad by The Beatles. A song that tells a mournful story, it has a distinctive baseline that seems almost like a dirge, and that gives shape to the whole piece. Utilizing various techniques (and some less that easy chord shapes), Yesterday is a song that evokes a lot of emotion and is such a beautiful piece to play.
